Brenda Haynes
MA, MT-BC Neurologic Music Therapy® Fellow
Ms. B is highly qualified to instruct students of all ages and levels. With a Master of Arts in piano pedagogy from Eastern Illinois University, NCTM (Nationally Certified Teacher of Music) certification through Music Teachers National Association (see MTNA.org), and a member of ISMTA and local chapter NWSMTA. With over 30 years of professional teaching and performing experience, your teacher provides individualized instruction for each student, based on his/her needs, capabilities, preferences, and desire to learn. Music instruction involves collaboration between the teacher, the student, and the parents, for the best possible outcome. ​
Your teacher will provide consistent and high-quality lesson material, which includes technique, repertoire, sight-reading, ensemble playing, basic singing skills (match pitches), aural training, and composition. Students will have the opportunity to participate in Achievement in Music (A.I.M.) standardized, non-competitive testing annually in order to have objective evaluation on their knowledge and performance. Learning to play the piano should be enjoyable – even fun!

Robert Davenport
With over 25 combined years of performance, education and teaching experience with percussion, guitar and string bass, Robert teaches students of all ages and abilities in all styles, including modern, classical and jazz. Every lesson is individualized to match the abilities and interests of the student to the appropriate amount of challenge, keeping them progressing and enjoying the experience.
Robert has a Bachelor of Music degree in guitar studies and theory from the University of Dayton and is a member of NAfME (National Association for Music Education).

Marcia Rudin
Ms. Rudin has taught private piano and flute students of all ages and levels in her home for many years. She has a BA degree in music education (piano and flute), and a MA degree in flute performance. Ms. Rudin is a member of NWSMTA chapter of ISMTA and MTNA, and is a lifelong member of the Chicago Flute Club. She has performed as a soloist and as a member of several orchestras and ensembles, and was the resident flute instructor at Hersey High School in Arlington Heights for 30 years.

Ronald Reis enjoys teaching guitar students of all ages and levels. He has an Associate in Fine Arts degree from College of DuPage and has been teaching and performing since 1993 in the Chicago northwest suburbs.
